| Freedom Group, Inc. The Freedom Group is at liberty to bear arms, thanks to the Second Amendment. The company manufactures firearms, ammunition, and accessories under 10 brand names, including Remington, Marlin, and Bushmaster. Its shotguns and rifles are geared toward both outdoor enthusiasts and law enforcement agencies, including the US military. (Wal-Mart, however, is the group's largest retail customer, representing about 15% of sales.) The Freedom Group is the only US company to manufacture both guns and ammo at its 11 manufacturing centers in the US; it distributes its products in more than 60 countries. The company was formed by Cerberus Capital Management to go public in a $200 million IPO in 2009.
